Maintain Your Blog!

Coming to Toastmasters Regular Meeting is never a waste for me. Because every speech is not only inspiring but also informative and useful for my life. Let say, Kaizen method delivered by TM Sri last week, help us improved our life. The method to sort some stuff, ideas to speak up, volunteering activities, are all very enlightening. However, only limited audiences who listened to the speakers at that time gained the knowledge. I wish not only us here, but everyone outside also can get exposed.

So dear readers, it would be a blessing, if you do not stop here after your speech towards limited people, but to start writing to reach bigger audiences. You may die, but your writing will never die. 

You can start writing on your personal website. Opening an account for blogging is easy and free, even you can get money if only you are serious with it. 

For personal purposes, you can choose blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, or else that you can google it. Based on my perspective, Blogger provides more features than WordPress and Tumblr. That in turn, made persons who like simplicity do not like to complicate themselves, then avoid blogger and choose WordPress or Tumblr instead. 

You can see from the picture below, majority of the people in the world choose Tumblr, the second, choose WordPress, and the third, choose Blogger.

Yet, I have chosen Blogger since 2008. Just because I am a google user, Blogger is a google product, and my inspiring blog authors were also using blogger. Then, they bought their own domain, so I followed them and bought my own domain. 

There are some tips for blogging:

1. Just share
2. Relax
3. Be consistent

Firstly, do not think too much, just share everything in your head, there is no rule when blogging, it is not a literature examination.

Secondly, relax, do not worry about haters, audiences are coming from google, they clicked it because they wish, your writing is not spam.

The last, if you wish to monetize your blog, be consistent, spare your time to write regularly, create a schedule, and be fixated on it. Because getting money from writing in your blog needs patience and consistency. More visitors to come more money you get. I started my blog in 2008 and at the time I wrote this, I already have had 1.4 million visitors.

Therefore, start blogging, maintain your blog, get the blessings and money as well!!!
