This is my most favorite dish, opor ayam! What you need to prepare if you want to cook opor ayam is written below.
Ingredient: (the amount is as much as the picture shown)
1) Shallots
2) Galangal
3) Ginger
4) Two Garlic
5) Candlenuts
6) Red chilies
7) Bay leaves
8) Turmeric
9) Orange leaves
10) Lemongrass leaf
11) A little amount of pepper (not as much as the picture, just take as you want)
12) Chicken
13) Salt
14) Flavoring
15) Coconut milk
16) Water
Procedure:
1) Grind the shallots, ginger, garlic, candlenut, red chilies, turmeric, and pepper.
2) Smash the galangal and lemongrass leaf.
3) Cook the ground ingredient no. 1 in the hot oil and put also the smashed galangal and lemongrass leaf.
4) Add enough water, bay leaves and orange leaves.
5) Put the chicken and mix them well.
6) Add a few of water and coconut milk, mix them well.
7) Wait until half cooked
8) Add enough salt and flavoring and put the last amount of coconut milk as you want.
9) Wait until cooked, then you can enjoy your opor ayam!
